The Guardian article.

This text that I have chosen is about when the student Chilean movement was installed in the mentally of Chilean people and press too. This article was written on Wednesday 22 June 2011 by Cristian Cabalin. He’s a Chilean journalist from University of Chile. I knew him; he was my teacher in the first year of my career.

Cabalin wrote about the Chilean education and the different mistakes that the system of education has. The article is related with how the Chilean Government faced the student’s uprising and how the President of Chile, Sebastian Piñera, had to face the survey about his popularity. This because the result was a scant popularity, so the people and the press made critical analysis toward the form how the government had to cope to national problems.

Also, the article made a presentation about the public universities and their administrative problems and of financing. It explains how  Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship had very bad laws and programs that  made a big problem about how the State sees the education in Chile.

The central idea of this text is that the Chilean Students are making big efforts for change the education system  in our country. The Chilean system of education in Chile is very inequality and very expense. So, the students are marching for a better country. Like the titular says.
