I don't like an special style of music, but if you tell me: who is the singer that you more listen? I say you "Jorge Drexler". He's a singer, musician and composer uruguayan. But he has a tradicional profession, he's a doctor. I met this artist about six or seven years ago, when I was a secondary student. My friend Mariairis showed me this musician, after she borrow me her favorite album. "La luz que sabe robar" was the first productión of Jorge Drexler that I met. Indeed, there are a lots songs that I like it of this album; like "Un solo color", "Equipaje" or "Vaivén".
I like so much the music of Jorge Drexler because it's so relaxer and romantic. Moreover, it has an important and profound sense social. He plays verse music, and many people say that he's a poet more than singer. And I agree.
I've never went to any show of Jorge Drexler in Santiago, but I hope that this will be reality some day.
